- Hi
Guillaume, thanks for accepting this interview!
When did you decide to become a model and how did you
get into modeling?
Hey
Edo, I started to think about it 1 year and a half ago.
I was done with my engineer studies and I was starting
to search for a job...But what my frends were doing
in life didn't seem that exciting and I wanted
to see the world. So I went to a model agency, Hourra
Models, in the south of France. The owner, Eric Lafont,
made me do my first test with Fred Goudon, the photographer
of 'Les dieux du stade', a famous calendar of the
French rugby team...This is how I started and since
then I'm travelling the world with my new job...
-What
kind of assignments, as a model, do you prefer?
For sure tv commercials, I feel so much better
in front of the video camera than the camera...and I
am very commercial as they say, not fashion...so I mostly
do tv commercials.
But runways are fun...being
in the backstage, feeling a bit of pression.
-What
do you like most about modeling? What do you like least?
The
best part is traveling the world. Since I'm modeling
I went to Greece, Singapore, Hong Kong, Spain and I'm going
to Miami in 2 weeks!! And of course the easy life, meeting
a lot of people, free time, and lots of parties...
For
the bad points maybe the superficiality of certain peole
but actually not that much, I guess there are assholes
everywhere.
-Tell me about your modeling
experiences so far.
I did some catalogs (Greece
and France), many tests, I'm part of the book Sunday
Morning by Fred Goudon, some runways in Asia and
Barcelona, some print commercials like Canon, Auchan
or Dockers, some video clips, and some tv commercials:
Cosmote, Champion and Vodafone in Greece, Sveltesse
and Maja perfume in Spain...
-Do you have
any other plans besides modeling? Would you like to
pursue acting as a career?
I have many plans,
using my engineer degree, maybe not, doing a MBA in
USA, making up my business...for the acting career
I would love to but I'm afraid I don't have the necessary
talent ;)
-I
am sure people consider you an attractive man, how important
is it for a model?
You work if you seduce
the client so it s part of the job...but I just keep
being myself, I don't try to play a role.
-How
would you describe yourself? Are you an optimistic person?
Yeah
very optimistic, it's important in that job especially
cause you never knows how tomorrow is gonna be.
-How
do you spend your free time?
Sport, dreaming,
watching movies, internet (too much thanks to facebook
and myspace), reading...
-Thanks again
G, my final question: do you have any special dream
for the future?
I don't ask much just an
incredibly full, happy, funny, amazing life for me and
the people I love.
Thanks
Edo!
